In the fourth year, the Great Master Mingjiao, Qisong, passed away at Lingyin in Qiantang. When he was bathed in fire, five things—his nose, tongue, eyes, ear-hair, and recitation beads—were not consumed. The assembly at that time wished to test this; they forged them again in fierce fire, but the five things became all the harder.
