八年。知定州蘇軾。繪水陸法像作贊十六篇。世謂辭理俱妙（今人多稱眉山水陸者由於此）。

Eighth year [1093 CE]. While governing Dingzhou, Su Shi painted images for the Water-and-Land ritual and composed sixteen eulogies. Contemporaries praised both the literary style and the doctrinal principles as wonderful. (The fact that people today often refer to the Meishan Water-and-Land ritual is due to this).
