致和元年。勅先聖廟用二十四戟。曾參等所封侯爵犯先聖諱。甚失弟子尊師之禮。別擬封者七人（曾子先封瑕丘伯。司馬牛楚丘。子張宛丘。石處營丘。琴開頓丘。南宮子容龔丘。已上六人在七十弟子數。左丘明瑕丘。穀梁赤龔丘。戴聖楚丘。已上三名在從祀數）。

In the first year of Zhihe, an imperial decree ordered that twenty-four halberds be used in the Temple of the Ancient Sage. Because the marquis titles bestowed upon Zeng Shen and others violated the taboo personal name of the Ancient Sage, greatly offending against the disciples' etiquette of revering their teacher, seven individuals were slated for alternative titles. (Zengzi was previously titled Baron of Xiaqiu; Sima Niu of Chuqiu; Zizhang of Wanqiu; Shichu of Yingqiu; Qinkai of Dunqiu; and Nangong Zirong of Gongqiu. The above six were among the seventy disciples. Zuo Qiuming was titled of Xiaqiu; Guliang Chi of Gongqiu; and Dai Sheng of Chuqiu. The above three were among the companion sacrifices.)
