Investigating Censors Song Ben, Li Jiabin, and Fu Qiyan stated: 'The offices of the Three Excellencies—Grand Commandant, Minister of Education, and Minister of Works—have been inappropriately conferred upon monks; and both the Huifu and Shuxiang Academies disgrace official titles and ranks. We request that they be abolished.' There was no reply.
