二年。建承天護聖寺。帝聞中峯高行。賜諡智覺。塔曰法雲。召奎章閣學士虞集命撰中峯塔銘。勅改集慶潛邸建龍翔集慶寺。妙選碩德開山。上天竺佛海澄法師。以咲隱訴禪師首膺其選。特升三品文階。明年驛召赴闕。入見奎章閣。賜坐問法要。對揚稱旨。詔以平江官田一百五十頃賜龍翔寺及崇僖寺。

In the second year, the Chengtian Husheng Monastery was constructed. Hearing of Zhongfeng's lofty conduct, the Emperor bestowed the posthumous title Zhijue, and named his stūpa Fayun. Academician of the Kuizhang Pavilion Yu Ji was summoned and commanded to compose the stūpa inscription for Zhongfeng. An imperial decree converted the princely residence at Jiqing into Longxiang Jiqing Monastery. Eminent and virtuous monks were carefully selected to inaugurate the monastery. Dharma Master Fohai Cheng of Upper Tianzhu, along with Chan Master Xiaoyin Su, were the primary choices. He was specially promoted to the third rank of civil officials. The following year, he was summoned to the court by courier-station relay. Entering for an audience at the Kuizhang Pavilion, he was granted a seat and questioned on the essentials of the Dharma; his replies pleased the imperial intent. An imperial decree bestowed one hundred and fifty qing of official land in Pingjiang upon Longxiang Monastery and Chongxi Monastery.
