48.84

詔天下諸僧寺田自金宋所有及累朝賜予者悉除其租。其有當輸租者仍免其役。僧還俗者聽復為僧。武帝忌辰命高麗漢僧三百四十人誦經二藏于崇恩福元寺。

An imperial decree was issued exempting all monastic lands throughout the empire held since the Jin and Song dynasties or bestowed during successive reigns from rent. Those that ought to pay rent were still exempt from corvée. Monks who had returned to secular life were permitted to become monks again. On the anniversary of Wuzong's death, three hundred and forty Korean and Chinese monks were commanded to recite two sets of the Tripiṭaka at Chong'en Fuyuan Monastery.
