8.21

曉石芝曰。石塔記。謂師著述。逸而不傳。然考諸四明章記。則嘗秉筆為觀經疏記。光明玄贊釋矣。蓋四明稟承其義。用之於記鈔諸文。非為無傳。贊釋一部尚存。但不廣行耳。

Xiao Shizhi says: 'The stone stūpa record states that the Master’s writings were lost and not transmitted. However, examining the commentaries and records of Siming [Fazhi], [it appears that] he had indeed held the brush to write a commentary and record on the Guan jing (Contemplation Sūtra) and an exposition on the Xuanzan of the Suvarṇaprabhāsa (Golden Light). Siming received and carried on his doctrines and used them in his records and subcommentaries; they were by no means untransmitted. One fascicle of the exposition still survives, though it does not circulate widely.'
