9.39

禪師法俊。初於金陵見智者。行法華三昧即獲悟入。後弘法於碧澗。學者歸仰。入滅之日。仙樂盈空天香亘野。大眾望其隱隱西去。

Dhyāna Master Fajun first met the Master of Wisdom in Jinling; practicing the Lotus Samādhi, he attained awakening and entry. Later, he propagated the Dharma at Bijian, and students took refuge in and revered him. On the day of his parinirvāṇa, celestial music filled the sky and heavenly fragrance spread across the countryside; the great assembly watched him faintly depart toward the west.
