The Bodhisattva manifested a great palace with various adornments within the mother's womb, while causing the mother's body to be peaceful and free from distress. Having taken up residence in the mother's womb, his mind was constantly in right mindfulness, displaying his dwelling in the Tuṣita Heaven, his initial birth as a youth dwelling in the royal palace, his renunciation, tapas, attainment of the Way, turning the wheel of the Dharma, and parinirvāṇa. Some saw the Buddha preaching the Dharma in various ways; some saw him in the Tuṣita Heaven; some saw him coming to dwell in the mother's womb; some saw his initial birth; some saw his renunciation; some saw his attainment of the Way; some saw his turning the wheel of the Dharma; some saw his entering nirvāṇa. (Avataṃsaka Sūtra. Jingxi says: Because they all say 'some', within each and every aspect there are all eight aspects. Note: The aspect of abiding in the womb as seen by great capacities.)
