Under Emperor Wu of Jin, Dharmarakṣa translated the *Saddharmapuṇḍarīka Sūtra*, the *Nirvāṇa Sūtra*, and other texts. Under Emperor Xiaowu, Kumārajīva arrived in Qin and translated the *Larger Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra*. Under Emperor An, Kumārajīva was in Qin and translated the *Lotus Sūtra*, the *Teaching Bequeathed [by the Buddha] Sūtra*, the *Vimalakīrti Sūtra*, and the *Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa*. Dharmakṣema arrived in Liang and translated the *Karuṇāpuṇḍarīka Sūtra* and the *Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra* (in forty fascicles). Buddhayaśas was in Qin and translated the *Dharmaguptaka Vinaya* (*Four-Part Vinaya*). Buddhabhadra translated the *Avataṃsaka Sūtra* (in sixty fascicles) in Jiankang, with Huiyan and Huiguan recording the text.
