Viśvabhū Buddha (the 1,000th Honoured One of the Glorious Kalpa), his verse states:
“Borrowing the four great elements to form the body,
The mind is originally unborn, existing because of sense-objects.
If the preceding object does not exist, the mind also does not exist;
Demerit and merit are like an illusion: arising, they are also extinguished.”
The Dīrghāgama Sūtra states: When the human lifespan was 60,000 years, this Buddha appeared in the world. His caste was kṣatriya, and his surname was Kauṇḍinya. His father was Supratīta, and his mother was Yaśovatī. He resided in the city of Anupama. He sat beneath a sāla tree to preach the Dharma. In two assemblies, he liberated 130,000 people. He had two foremost disciples endowed with miraculous powers: the first was named Sona, and the second was named Uttara. His attendant was Upaśānta, and his son was Suprabuddha.
