97.5

第三毘舍浮佛偈云。假借四大以為身。心本無生因境有。前境若無心亦無。罪福如幻起亦滅。

The verse of the third Buddha, Viśvabhū, says:
“Borrowing the four great elements to serve as a body,
The citta is originally unborn, existing because of objects.
If the preceding objects do not exist, citta also does not exist;
Demerit and merit are like an illusion: arising, they are also extinguished.”
