拘那含牟尼佛（賢劫第二尊）偈曰。佛不見佛知是佛。若實有知別無佛。智者能知罪性空。坦然不怖於生死。長阿含經云。人壽三萬歲時此佛出世。種婆羅門。姓迦葉。父大德。母善勝。居清淨城。坐優曇婆羅樹下說法。一會度人三萬。神足二。一舒槃那。二欝多樓。侍者安和。子導師。

Kanakamuni Buddha (the second Honoured One of the Fortunate Kalpa), his verse states:
“Buddhas do not see Buddhas, yet know they are Buddhas;
If there were actual knowing, there would be no other Buddha.
The wise can know that the nature of demerit is empty,
Serenely unafraid of birth and death.”
The Dīrghāgama Sūtra states: When the human lifespan was 30,000 years, this Buddha appeared in the world. His caste was brāhmaṇa, and his surname was Kāśyapa. His father was Kanakadatta, and his mother was Uttarā. He resided in the city of Śobhavatī. He sat beneath an uḍumbara tree to preach the Dharma. In one assembly, he liberated 30,000 people. He had two foremost disciples endowed with miraculous powers: the first was Śibhi, and the second was Uttara. His attendant was Sotthija, and his son was Sārthavāha.
