（十二　癸未）　明帝紹改太寧（字道畿。元之長子。敏有機斷。故能以弱制強。克復大業。惜乎降年不永。未致太平崩。壽二十七。葬于平陵）治三年。

(12. Guiwei) Emperor Ming, [Sima] Shao, changed the era to Taining. (Courtesy name Daoji. Eldest son of Yuan. Clever and possessing decisive insight, he was therefore able to use weakness to master strength and restore the grand undertaking. Alas, his allotted lifespan was not long; he passed away before achieving supreme peace. Age twenty-seven. Buried at Pingling.) Reigned three years.
