宋分揚州浙東五郡。置東陽州治會稽。分荊湘江豫州之八郡。置郢州治江夏（宋書）。
Song divided the five commanderies east of the Zhe River in Yangzhou to establish Dongyang Province, with its administrative seat at Kuaiji; and divided eight commanderies from Jing, Xiang, Jiang, and Yuzhou to establish Yingzhou, with its administrative seat at Jiangxia (Book of Song).
