繹。武帝第七子。封湘東王。為荊州刺史。甞以高祖崩捨宮造天宮寺。請法聰禪師居之。修崇佛事。壬申年十一月即皇帝位於江陵。在位三年。壽四十七　承聖（三）。

Taboo name Yi. Seventh son of Emperor Wu. Enfeoffed as King of Xiangdong, he served as Regional Inspector of Jingzhou. Because Gaozu had passed away, he once relinquished his palace to build Tiangong Monastery, inviting Chan Master Facong to reside there and cultivating and exalting Buddhist affairs. In the eleventh month of the renshen year, he ascended the imperial throne in Jiangling. He reigned for three years and died at the age of forty-seven. Reign era: Chengsheng (3).
