諱蒨。字子華。武帝兄昭烈王之長子也。封臨川王。太后以遺詔立之。在位七年。壽四十五　天嘉（六）天康（一）。

His taboo name was Qian, and his style was Zihua; he was the eldest son of King Zhaolie, the elder brother of Emperor Wu. He was enfeoffed as King of Linchuan. The Empress Dowager enthroned him in accordance with the testamentary edict. He reigned for seven years and lived to the age of forty-five. Tianjia (6), Tiankang (1).
