諱廣。高祖文帝第二子。封晉王。開皇二十年廢太子勇立廣為皇太子。仁壽四年七月即帝位。在位十三年。為令狐行達縊於江都。壽三十九歲　大業（十二又二）。

Personal name Guang. Second son of Emperor Wen, Gaozu. Enfeoffed as Prince of Jin. In the twentieth year of the Kaihuang era, Crown Prince Yong was deposed, and Guang was established as Crown Prince. In the seventh month of the fourth year of the Renshou era, he ascended the imperial throne. He reigned for thirteen years. He was strangled by Linghu Xingda at Jiangdu. His age was thirty-nine.
