Personal name Guang. Second son of Emperor Wen, Gaozu. Enfeoffed as Prince of Jin. In the twentieth year of the Kaihuang era, Crown Prince Yong was deposed, and Guang was established as Crown Prince. In the seventh month of the fourth year of the Renshou era, he ascended the imperial throne. He reigned for thirteen years. He was strangled by Linghu Xingda at Jiangdu. His age was thirty-nine. Reign era: Daye (twelve years plus two months).
