都維那　沙門竺道壹從竺法汰學晉簡文帝俱深敬重壹後止平江虎丘山又適越州若耶溪頃之郡守王薈建嘉祥寺請居僧首時號九州都維那（孫綽贊傳）　毘奈耶律十卷　是年竺法念法師譯之成。

Metropolitan Karmadāna: Śramaṇa Zhu Daoyi studied under Zhu Fatai. Both were deeply revered by Emperor Jianwen of Jin. Later, Yi resided on Tiger Hill Mountain in Pingjiang, and also went to Ruoye Brook in Yuezhou. Soon after, Wang Hui, the prefect of the commandery, built Jiaxiang Monastery and invited him to be the head of the monks. At that time he was called the Metropolitan Karmadāna of the Nine Provinces (from Sun Chuo's eulogistic biography). The Vinaya in Ten Fascicles: In this year, Dharma Master Zhu Fanian completed its translation.
