癸卯廣德元年　史朝義戰敗走范陽。窮蹙縊死林中。冬十月吐蕃陷京師。帝出陝。郭子儀克復之。帝還宮。十二月詔修五臺文殊菩薩殿。鑄銅為瓦。塗以黃金。

The gui-mao year was the first year of Guangde. Shi Chaoyi, defeated in battle, fled to Fanyang. Pressed to extremity, he hanged himself in the woods. In the winter, in the tenth month, the Tibetans captured the capital. The Emperor fled to Shan. Guo Ziyi recovered it, and the Emperor returned to the palace. In the twelfth month, an imperial edict ordered the repair of the Hall of Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva on Mount Wutai, casting bronze into roof tiles and gilding them with gold.
