龍潭　澧州龍潭崇信禪師。渚宮人（今荊潮北道荊門州）家居荊南城天皇寺巷。禮道悟禪師出家。既受具服勤左右。領悟玄旨。後詣澧陽龍潭棲止焉。師嗣天皇道悟禪師。悟嗣石頭遷。遷嗣青原思禪師。思嗣六祖尊者。信接弟子。曰德山宣鑒（傳燈錄）。

Longtan. Chan Master Chongxin of Longtan in Lizhou was a native of Zhugong (present-day Jingmen Prefecture in Jingchao Beidao). His family resided in the lane of Tianhuang Temple in the city of Jingnan. He bowed to Chan Master Daowu and left household life. Having received full ordination, he served diligently at his side and comprehended the profound meaning. Later, he went to Longtan in Liyang to dwell. The master was a dharma heir of Chan Master Tianhuang Daowu. Daowu was a heir of Shitou Xiqian; Xiqian was a heir of Chan Master Qingyuan Xingsi; Xingsi was a heir of the Venerable Sixth Patriarch. Chongxin received the disciple called Deshan Xuanjian (Transmission of the Lamp).
