乙卯乾寧二年。次年馬殷據湖南杭州。錢鏐兼鎮東西兩浙。李茂貞犯京師。帝幸華州。茂貞入長安。宮室市肆燔燒俱盡。

The yimao year was the second year of Qianning (895). In the following year, Ma Yin occupied Hunan, and Qian Liu of Hangzhou concurrently governed both Eastern and Western Zhe. Li Maozhen invaded the capital, and the Emperor fled to Huazhou. Maozhen entered Chang'an, and the palaces and marketplaces were completely burned to ashes.
