杜順和尚　名法順。生壅州杜氏。少時隋文帝敬重給月俸供之。至是帝素敬重。常引入宮奉之如佛。順集華嚴法界觀。弟子智儼傳其教。貞觀十四年五月順示寂（本傳）。

Upādhyāya Dushun: His personal name was Fashun, born into the Du clan of Yongzhou. In his youth, Emperor Wen of the Sui revered him and provided him with a monthly stipend. By this time, the Emperor had long revered him, frequently ushering him into the palace and revering him like a Buddha. Shun compiled the Contemplation of the Huayan Dharmadhātu (Huayan fajie guan). His disciple Zhiyan transmitted his teaching. In the fifth month of the fourteenth year of the Zhenguan era, Shun manifested his decease (Original Biography).
