閩主延鈞度民二萬為僧。由是閩中多僧（見五代舊史閩世家）　是年十二月。荊南節度使高季興卒。命其子從誨權知軍府事。從誨上表求內附。詔以從誨為荊南節度使。

The ruler of Min, Yanjun, ordained twenty thousand commoners as monks. From this time, monks were numerous in Min (see *Old History of the Five Dynasties, Hereditary Houses of Min*). In this year, in the twelfth month, Gao Jixing, Military Commissioner of Jingnan, died. He ordered his son Conghui to act as administrator of the military government affairs. Conghui submitted a memorial seeking internal allegiance. An imperial decree appointed Conghui as Military Commissioner of Jingnan.
