八月。吳越國文穆王錢氏元瓘薨。其子弘佐即王位。弘佐溫恭明斷。好書禮士躬勤政務。治七年。壽二十。

In the eighth month, King Wenmu of Wuyue, Qian Yuanguan, passed away. His son Hongzuo acceded to the royal throne. Hongzuo was gentle, respectful, clear, and decisive; he loved books, treated scholars with propriety, and personally attended to governmental affairs. He ruled for seven years and lived to the age of twenty.
