劉煦授司空平章事撰舊唐史。佛祖異跡皆載之。宋歐陽修撰唐書。始皆刪去。

Liu Xu was appointed Minister of Works and Pingzhang Affairs, and compiled the *Old History of the Tang*. The extraordinary traces of the Buddhas and Patriarchs were all recorded therein. When Ouyang Xiu of the Song compiled the *History of the Tang*, he first deleted them all.
