十一月司馬溫國公光居洛十五年矣。上表進所編書賜名資治通鑑。帝製序賜之。
In the eleventh month, Sima Guang, Duke of the State of Wen, had resided in Luoyang for fifteen years. He submitted a memorial presenting the book he had compiled, which was bestowed the title Zizhi tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance). The Emperor composed a preface and bestowed it on him.
