煦。神宗第六子。十歲即位。宣仁太后高氏臨朝聽政。相司馬光呂公著。元祐之治盛焉。紹聖之後政不逮矣。在位十五年壽二十五　元祐（八）紹聖（四）元符（三）。

His personal name was Xu. He was the sixth son of Shenzong. He ascended the throne at the age of ten. Empress Dowager Xuanren, née Gao, attended court and oversaw the administration of governance, employing Sima Guang and Lü Gongzhu as grand councilors. The Governance of Yuanyou flourished. After the Shaosheng era, governance fell short. He reigned for fifteen years and lived to the age of twenty-five. The reign eras were Yuanyou (eight years), Shaosheng (four years), and Yuanfu (three years).
