宋九月丙辰。駕幸上天竺。以萬歲香山供養菩薩。召住持應如賜對。如辯慧稱旨。賜金帛祠部度僧牒以勉修造。初紹興三年七月。龍圖閣學士梁如嘉知臨安府。奏圓通大師應如住上竺。至是帝悅（上竺紀勝）。

Under the Song, in the ninth month, on the bingchen day, the imperial carriage proceeded to Upper Tianzhu to make offerings to the Bodhisattva with incense from the Longevity Mountain. The abbot Yingru was summoned for an imperial audience. Ru's eloquence and wisdom pleased the Emperor, who bestowed gold, silk, and ordination certificates from the Ministry of Rites to encourage construction and repair. Earlier, in the seventh month of the third year of Shaoxing (1133), Liang Rujia, an Academician of the Longtu Pavilion serving as Prefect of Lin'an, had memorialized requesting that Master of Perfect Penetration Yingru take up the abbacy of Upper Tianzhu; now the Emperor was pleased (Shangzhu jisheng).
