金詔洞宗禪派萬松長老。於內殿說法。章宗躬親迎禮。奉錦綺大僧祇衣詣座授施。后妃貴戚羅拜於前各施珍財。建普度會。每歲設齋。後於承安二年。詔萬松禪師住西山之仰山（金志）。

The Jin summoned Elder Wansong of the Caodong Chan lineage to preach the Dharma in the inner palace. Emperor Zhangzong personally welcomed and bowed to him, holding a brocade saṃghāṭī robe, proceeding to the seat to bestow it. The empress, imperial consorts, and noble kin bowed before him in rows, each bestowing precious treasures. A universal deliverance assembly was established, and a vegetarian feast was provided every year. Later, in the second year of the Cheng'an reign era, an edict summoned Chan Master Wansong to dwell at Mount Yang in the Western Hills (Jin Zhi).
