戊寅至元四年正月。以地震赦天下　四月雨雹如拳。環玦獅象等形　信州山震　邵武雨水深二丈　鞏昌山崩壓死人民。

In the wu-yin year, the fourth year of Zhiyuan (1338 CE), in the first month, a general amnesty was granted throughout the realm on account of earthquakes. In the fourth month, it hailed stones as large as fists, shaped like circular jade pendants, lions, elephants, and the like. Mount Xinzhou shook. In Shaowu, the floodwaters rose two zhang deep. Mount Gongchang collapsed, crushing and killing common people.
