己巳至元六年　宋咸淳五年　二月帝師癹思巴。制蒙古字成頒行天下。宋之常州雞翼生距。

Sixth year of Zhiyuan, jisi; fifth year of Xianchun of Song: In the second month, Imperial Preceptor Phags-pa completed the creation of the Mongolian script, which was promulgated throughout the empire. In Changzhou of Song, spurs grew on chicken wings.
