己亥十九年　龍鳳五年四月。帝以天下多故。却天壽節朝賀詔曰。朕宜敬天地法祖宗。以自修省。初度之日群臣毋朝。

The nineteenth year, yihai; the fifth year of Longfeng. In the fourth month, because there were many troubles in the realm, the Emperor declined court congratulations on the Festival of Heavenly Longevity (Tianshoujie). An edict stated: "We should revere Heaven and Earth and model Ourselves on the ancestors in order to engage in self-cultivation and reflection. On Our birthday, the multitude of ministers shall not present court congratulations."
