2.110

一來復宗鬯。簡束諸山僧行。不入清規者。以法繩之。并掌天界寺一應錢糧產業及各方布施財物。置立文簿。明白稽考。其各僧官職掌之事宗鬯皆須兼理　考試天下僧人能否。公同圓議具實奏聞。

Item: Laifu and Zongchang shall inspect and discipline the conduct of monks in all mountain monasteries. Those who do not conform to the pure rules shall be restrained according to the law. They shall also take charge of all money, grain, and monastic estates of Tianjie Monastery, as well as the wealth and goods offered as alms from all quarters, establishing written ledgers for clear inspection and auditing. Zongchang must also concurrently manage the duties of the various Buddhist officials. As for examining whether the monks across the realm are capable, they shall jointly deliberate in full, draw up a truthful report, and submit it for imperial hearing.
