七月初一日。本部官於奉天門欽奉聖旨。恁禮部出批。著落僧錄司。差僧人將榜文去。清理天下僧寺。凡僧人不許與民間雜處。

On the first day of the seventh month, officials of this Ministry reverently received the Imperial Edict at Fengtian Gate: 'Let your Ministry of Rites issue a directive instructing the Central Buddhist Registry to dispatch monks with placard proclamations to rectify the monasteries throughout the realm. Monks shall not be permitted to live interspersed among the common people.'
