庚戌洪武三年正月。追封外大父為楊王。立廟京師親祭之　二月王褘教大本堂　詔免三省十六郡今年稅糧。

In the *gengxu* year, the third year of Hongwu, in the first month, the maternal grandfather was posthumously enfeoffed as King of Yang; a temple was erected in the capital, and the Emperor personally sacrificed there. In the second month, Wang Wei taught at the Daben Hall. An edict exempted the grain taxes of this year for sixteen commanderies in three provinces.
