In the eleventh month, the Imperial Grandson Yunwen was born. The Imperial Grandson's skull was somewhat slanted. Taizu caressed it and said, 'A half moon; I know he will not achieve a complete end.' When he studied, he was extremely clever. He once chanted a poem on the new moon:
'Who took a jade finger to press down,
And pinched through the trace of the azure sky?
Its reflection falls into rivers and lakes,
Where flood-dragons dare not swallow it.'
Taizu was displeased, taking it as an inauspicious omen.
