戊午十一年正月。給朝參文武百官牙牌。懸帶出入以防姦偽　禮部郎中袁子文。建言度僧許之。

In the wu-wu year, the eleventh year [1378], in the first month, ivory passes were distributed to all civil and military officials attending audience, to be suspended from their belts when entering and exiting to prevent treachery and impersonation. Yuan Ziwen, Director of a Bureau in the Ministry of Rites, submitted a proposal to ordain monks, which was granted.
