己未洪武十二年。詔以北平久不雨。今年夏稅秋糧。盡行蠲免　十月定致仕官處鄉黨之禮。

In the ji-wei year, the twelfth year of Hongwu [1379], an edict was issued: because Beiping had lacked rain for a long time, this year's summer taxes and autumn grain levies were entirely remitted. In the tenth month, the ritual decorum for retired officials residing among their local clans was established.
