蔣山寺住持仲羲奏。遷蔣山寺及寶公塔於東岡。改賜寺額曰靈谷寺。榜外門曰第一禪林。命度僧一千名。悉給與度牒。贍僧田若干頃。

Zhongxi, the abbot of Jiangshan Monastery, memorialized requesting to move Jiangshan Monastery and the Pagoda of Master Bao to the eastern knoll, and the temple plaque was altered to Linggu Monastery. The outer gate was inscribed with the board "Foremost Chan Grove." It was decreed that one thousand monks be ordained, all given ordination certificates, and provided with several qing of monastic fields.
