辛巳五年。帝謂李賢曰。朕進膳飲食隨分。未甞揀擇去取。衣服亦隨宜。雖著布衣。人不以為非天子也。
The fifth year, xinba: The Emperor said to Li Xian: "In taking food and drink, I accept what is appropriate to my lot and have never been selective. My clothing is likewise suited to circumstances. Even if I wear plain cloth, people do not think I am not the Son of Heaven."
