癸卯　甲辰　胡居仁。其學以忠信為本。以力行為要。因以敬名齋。聘請主白鹿洞書院。卒年五十一。有敬齋錄居業錄。

Guimao. Jiachen: Hu Juren regarded loyalty and trustworthiness as fundamental, and vigorous action as essential, so he named his study Jing (Reverence). He was invited to head the White Deer Grotto Academy. He passed away at the age of fifty-one. He authored Jingzhai lu and Juye lu.
