大闡禪師　名惠通。號大闡。政和邵姓。年二十。造寶積玉溪師處出家。參周山主。付念佛公案。積久透徹。後住樵陽君峰示寂𠙦絕禪師　諱瑞。南昌人。禮荊門無說和尚薙髮。見寶峯大師反覆辨詰。機緣契合。付以袈裟拂子。住鍾陵名剎。弘法接機甚眾。

Chan Master Dachan, named Huitong, styled Dachan, was surnamed Shao and from Zhenghe. At the age of twenty, he went to Master Yuxi of Baoji to leave home. He studied under Abbot Zhou, who transmitted to him the gongan of reciting the Buddha's name. After a long time, he penetrated it thoroughly. Later, he resided at Junfeng in Qiaoyang, where he entered quiescence. Chan Master Zhanjue, taboo name Rui, was a native of Nanchang. He paid homage to Venerable Wushuo of Jingmen to shave his head. Meeting Great Master Baofeng, they debated and interrogated each other repeatedly; their affinities matched, and Baofeng bestowed upon him the robe and whisk. He resided at famous monasteries in Zhongling, propagating the Dharma and receiving practitioners in great numbers.
