Chan Master Wuwen, named Sicong, courtesy name Wuwen, at first met Duweng, and then accompanied Yunfeng and Yueshan, practicing meditation for many years. Later, he visited Woyun and Buhui, requesting further guidance at both places. He had a verse on a fan: "Raised up clearly, it is truly wondrous; / The cool breeze gusts in, penetrating one's bosom. / There is not much news within it; / Spontaneously across the entire body, joy arrives." Another verse said: "The ancient peak of Yunfeng is hard for people to behold; / By chance the wind comes, mirroring the evening glow. / A hundred birds have not yet returned, though the sky has grown late; / In the depth of night, as before, roosting in the reed flowers."
