辛巳十六年。羅欽明。江西人。所著困知記。深明性理之學。官至吏部尚書。諡文莊　二月上不豫。三月十四日崩於豹房　迎興獻王長子至。即皇帝位。大赦天下。

In the sixteenth year, xinsi [1521], Luo Qinming, a native of Jiangxi, wrote the *Kunzhi ji*, profoundly illuminating the learning of nature and principle. He reached the post of Minister of Personnel and was posthumously titled Wenzhuang. In the second month, His Majesty was indisposed; on the fourteenth day of the third month, he passed away in the Leopard Quarter. The eldest son of Prince Xingxian was welcomed to arrive, and he ascended the imperial throne. A general amnesty was proclaimed throughout the empire.
