乙未　上曰。有德行者。方可為人師範。文章是末藝耳　祀天重器成　除禁中佛殿。併燬大善殿金範佛像。

In the yiwei year, the Emperor said: "Only those with virtuous conduct may serve as models for others; literary composition is merely an inferior skill." The major vessels for sacrificing to Heaven were completed. The Buddhist halls in the forbidden palace were abolished, and the cast-gold Buddha statues in the Hall of Great Goodness were destroyed together.
