己亥　張孚敬。狥國之純臣。振古之人豪。卒贈太師。祭葬蔭子有加。上親按諡法。以危身奉上。諡曰文忠。蓋特眷云。

In the jihai year, Zhang Fujing, a pure minister devoted to the state and an extraordinary hero of antiquity, passed away and was posthumously granted [the title of] Grand Preceptor, with exceptional funeral honors, imperial sacrifices, and hereditary privileges for his son. The Emperor personally examined the posthumous title regulations and, because he risked his life to serve his sovereign, conferred on him the posthumous title of Wenzhong, reflecting special imperial favor.
