淨飯有二子。一名菩薩（大智論同。十二遊經云。白淨王有二子。其太子名悉達）二名難陀（大智論同。十二遊經云。其小子名難陀）。

Śuddhodana had two sons. The first was named the Bodhisattva (the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa agrees; the Shi'er you jing states that King Baijing had two sons: the crown prince was named Siddhārtha), and the second was named Nanda (the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa agrees; the Shi'er you jing states that the younger son was named Nanda).
