甘露飯有二子。一名婆婆。二名拔提（大智論云。甘露飯二子。摩訶男阿泥盧豆。有一女。名甘露味。雜阿含云。低沙比丘是佛姑子兄弟。十二遊經云。設淨王有二子。大子名釋迦王。小子名釋少王。尋此四王名號次序及生子名字互有同異。正其然否寄之來哲。其淨飯王白淨真淨悅頭檀輸頭檀眾經名各不同。蓋是譯出致異。即是一人耳。阿泥盧豆。即阿那律。推例而求。類多如此）。

Amṛtodana had two sons: the first was named Vāpa, and the second was named Bhadrika (the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states that Amṛtodana's two sons were Mahānāma and Aniruddha, and that he had one daughter named Amṛtā. The Saṃyuktāgama states that the bhikṣu Tiṣya was the son of the Buddha's paternal aunt. The Shi'er you jing states that King Shejing had two sons: the eldest son was named King Śākya, and the younger son was named King Śākya the Younger. Upon examining the names, order, and sons of these four kings, differences and similarities exist among them; determining their accuracy is entrusted to future scholars. As for King Śuddhodana, Baijing, Zhenjing, Yuetoutan, and Shutoudan, his names differ across the scriptures; these differences are due to translation, but refer to one and the same person. 'Aniludou' is indeed Aniruddha; when examined by analogy, many cases are similar to this).
